Weather you wear Turquoise for looks or luck here is a handy home test to discover if it is real or an impostor.

1. Take the long piece of hair and lay tight over the gemstone in question.
2. Light and use a incense stick to touch hair while wrapped on stone .
3. With the hair lying tight across the stone connect the tip of the incense/ device right onto the center point of the hair strand and gemstone.
4. If the hair remained undisturbed, you have a genuine piece of turquoise. If the hair strand is broken, or disturbed the turquoise you have is not authentic
